Tonight the Boston Bruins will play the Ottawa Senators at TD Banknorth Garden. According to Shinzawa, who has been posting all day,
Tim Thomas will start. Chuck Kobasew and Andrew Alberts are still out due to injury. The two of them skated at the same time as Patrice Bergeron did but they did skate together. Peter Schaefer is back, however, and will play tonight. According to Shinzawa, he will most likely replace Petteri Nokelainen. Here are the lines according to Fluto Shinzawa's blog:
Axelsson-Savard-Murray
Sturm-Metropolit-Kessel
Lucic-Krejci-Schaefer
Reich-Sobotka-Thornton
Chara-Wideman
Ference-Ward
Stuart-Hnidy
Thomas
The Senators are the best team in the division, but the Bruins beat them pretty badly the last time the two teams faced eachother. I'm not sure if Marty Lapointe will be available for Ottawa or not. Dale Arnold on the radio today predicted a 3-2 Bruins win, and I think he's right. Ottawa has not been playing well as of late (they were spanked 5-0 by Toronto yesterday) and the Bruins have been playing well (4-0-1 in last five games).
Go Bruins!
